The Beckley-Stratton Theatre Club is gearing up for a Spring Production of a modernized
Anne of Green Gables. With fun, exciting characters and a modern story line, the play follows
the life of young orphan Anne Shirley.

“Anne of Green Gables is a classic, but we took it and modernized it to fit kids for your age,” said art teacher Mrs. Lilly. The play does not have a set date yet for the production but it is planned to be performed at Cross Point Church of God.

The troop has recruited students in all three grades to bring the characters to life including the leading role of Anne going to 6th grader Mia Houck. “She’s very outgoing, very talkative, and very imaginative.” She can definitely be annoying though.”, said Mia on the character.

Be prepared to see new and familiar faces in the first production from Beckley-Stratton’s Theatre Club!
