On November 20, 2017, The BEST Times was spotlighted on WVVA for being the most eminent middle school newspaper in the state of West Virginia, utilizing a digital layout congruent to Marshall University’s.

With the support of the community expressed through generous donations to their GoFundMe page, the tenacious newspaper staff at Beckley-Stratton Middle School was granted the opportunity to network their ideas online. SNOSites.com, the platform used by BEST columnists, strives to foster the advancement of the future press.

Previously only circulated as a form of quarterly published print media, The BEST Times has conspicuously evolved into an unprecedented powerhouse, disseminating articles and spotlighting snapshots weekly, over the course of a year.

Notwithstanding its transformation, however, the heart of the paper has remained undeviating; its zealous staffers have continued to wholeheartedly and candidly report and be a commentary for the subjects that interest them. Pioneers of this media movement, Beckley-Stratton’s industrious newsies have committed themselves to their craft, and corroborate that the future is fate at BEST.
